What are your general interests?

I have had extensive experience in fundraising for non-profit organizations. Prior to having our twins, four years ago, I was extreamly active in the Jackson-Belden Chamber of Commerce, Aultman Hospital's Woman's Board, The Wilderness Center Auction, and Junior Achievement. I believe in the economic development of Stark County and want to be more involved.

BA Communication Studies & Marketing, The University of Mount Union

Career Experience:

I began my career at WJW Fox8 in Cleveland, before a family medical emergency brought me back to the area. In 2004 I extablished a PR/Markeing firm that addressed the needs of small businesses. After having our children, I wanted to further my career without the responsibility of corporate ownership. I am currently the Senior VP of Sales & Marketing of Waggoner Chocolates.

Please describe your professional development ideals:

I belive that in order to grow as a professional, you have to always be willing to learn more. We are responsible for the economic development and growth in our area. That is why I feel that being successful in businesses goes hand in hand with civic responsibility. That is why I am contacting you at this time.
