Canton Arts District, revitalization of downtown, volunteering with the National First Ladies Library, promoting and listening to The Canton Symphony, volunteering with Stark Parks, Arts in Stark board member, Foundation for Community Betterment board member.

University of Akron, B.S. Biology.

Career Experience:

Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Parks and Recreation 1992-2005. Stay-at-home mom since then.

Please describe your professional development ideals:

When I'm not busy with my 4 1/2 year old son, I enjoy promoting Canton / Stark County. Giving history tours at the First Ladies Library, leading a birdwatching hike along park trails, or assisting The Canton Symphony allows me to meet other community leaders and promote our region to the visiting public.
