Fellowship Requirements

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
  • Mission of program is to retain Stark County’s best college graduates through an organized training program which promotes the leadership qualities of its participants. The desire is to develop Fellows who are committed to our community and therefore help to strengthen local economic development efforts.
  • Each participant will be provided with a total fellowship experience including work, social, community activities and service, entrepreneurial and leadership training.
  • Two-year commitment; full-time, paid position; company benefits

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Graduate of a Stark County college/university with a bachelors or associates degree or a graduate of a Stark County high school and a graduate of a fully accredited college or university with a bachelors or associates degree.
  • Any major is eligible.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential: significant involvement in campus activities, strong work ethic and communication skills and teamwork orientation
  • Career-related work experience prior to graduation a plus
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher preferred. ( Consideration will be given to candidates with extraordinary leadership experiences and/or career-related work experience and a minimum GPA of 3.0.)
  • Candidate for graduation for Fall or Spring academic year (undergraduates only).  We will keep all applications on file for one year from date of graduation.

  3. Unofficial college transcript
  4. Resume
  5. References (list of three)
