There’s been big news coming from the Akron-Canton Airport lately. Get the inside scoop at the March CEO Meet&Eat Luncheon from Rick McQueen, President & CEO of the Akron-Canton Airport (CAK).

CAK has broken its own records – year after year, reaching 1.6 million passengers for the first time in 2011 and growing 300% over the past year 15 years - outperforming their own predictions. The airport also continues to expand as they are in the middle of their 10 year Capital Improvement Plan, CAK 2018 having already extended their runaway and just opened an expansive new TSA security area.

Rick will explain how the airport has not only grown but continues to offer low airfares (14th cheapest air market in the country – to be exact). You’ll hear what’s next for CAK, including what the future holds for AirTran Airways, CAK’s largest carrier, which will be transitioned to Southwest Airlines in 2013 and why this is so important to the airport.

Rick, who started his career at the airport 29 years ago, will also share his advice for young professionals..
